About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and optimize user interfaces for automotive systems, including central displays and mobile applications
Create interactive prototypes that help explore and communicate new UX concepts and interaction patterns
Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to align user needs with technical and business goals
Analyze user feedback and UX studies to improve in-car experiences and make interactions more intuitive
Help ensure consistency across interfaces and produce clear design specifications for development teams
Contribute to design work related to lighting concepts and support the translation of ideas into feasible, manufacturable solutions
Help evolve design practices by staying current with UX/UI methods, tools, and visual design trends.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher in design with a focus on UX and visual ergonomics
5+ years of professional experience in automotive design or closely related fields such as consumer or architecture, together with a strong portfolio
Hands-on experience designing for touch-based platforms such as mobile apps
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including iconography, screen layouts, and system interactions
Experience working with real user feedback and conducting UX analysis and studies
Understanding of user behavior in automotive or similarly constrained environments
Experience collaborating with both designers and engineers throughout the full design process
Experience translating light concepts into feasible, manufacturable solutions together with suppliers and engineering
High proficiency in Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong visual design fundamentals across typography, color theory, and layout
Ability to work across different application environments and form factors, and to communicate complex concepts through UI screens, videos, and prototypes
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
