About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You develop and maintain control strategies and software functions for transmission management systems.
You implement gear shifting functionality for both ICE and BEV applications.
You write and refine requirements, turn them into implementation, and follow through with testing and verification.
You work mainly in C and also use Matlab/Simulink as part of the development flow.
You test and validate software through unit tests, SIL, and vehicle-level testing.
You collaborate with engineers across disciplines to deliver safe, stable, and high-quality solutions.
You contribute to documentation that supports development, verification, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
Experience in transmission management software development.
Strong experience in C.
Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
Ability to work in a structured and quality-focused way in a safety-critical development environment.
Ability to collaborate well in cross-functional teams.
Ability to pass a background check.
Nice to have: Experience with Python.
Experience in embedded software development, control systems, or vehicle development.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, and Ethernet.
Experience with testing methodologies such as unit testing, integration testing, SIL, or vehicle testing.
Experience working with functional safety and ISO 26262.
