About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning, execution and closing of a technical project or technical workstream within a larger initiative
- Create a viable technical project plan with business SMEs and technical contributors
- Coordinate technical activities across teams, drive delivery forward and provide clear progress reporting to business, programme and steering stakeholders
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions and escalate issues and impediments to keep momentum and reduce delivery risk
- Maintain a high pace of delivery across disparate teams and contributors
- Support topics related to Payment Channels, Payments Processing Platform and Payments Reporting when needed
- Work across traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile delivery methods
- Lead a complex corporate channel migration and adjacent payments capabilities transformation in a financial services environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in technology projects
- Strong and demonstrable knowledge and experience planning, executing and closing technical projects or technical workstreams within larger projects
- Strong and demonstrable ability to create a viable technical project plan in collaboration with business SMEs and technical contributors such as Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers and Testers
- Strong and demonstrable ability to coordinate technical activities across teams and contributors, drive and report on delivery of technical activities, facilitate problem-solving sessions, and escalate issues and impediments for resolution
- Strong and demonstrable ability to set and maintain a high pace of delivery across disparate teams and contributors
- Experience managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity
- Experience in both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile environments
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to drive efficient and robust decision-making
- Fluent in English
