About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide tactical and strategic support for the Avantor operations in Czechia, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia
Coordinate with relevant stake holders to create Safe System of Work (SSoW) for environmental, health and safety, security and sustainability activities
Develop a collaborative safety culture promoting safety as a personal value
Functions as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the site Leadership Teams
Lead and develop topics in accordance with the EHSSS&S organization for the site
Conduct incident investigations supporting root cause analysis and barrier failure using ABS Group methodologies
Maintain and evaluate an up-to-date legal register specific to the site operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant senior professional qualifications in sciences, occupational safety or related fields (> level 6 or equivalent)
A relevant environmental qualification
Lead auditor training (ISO 14001 and 45001)
Significant demonstratable experience within a global organisation in a multi geographic role
Languages: Hungarian or Czech fluent, English (C1)
