About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and grow Pharma, Biotech, Industrial, and Research sales efforts within Seattle region
  • Sell products and/or services to clients and identify new and potential customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline and develop proposals to illustrate Avantor's value proposition
  • Build and sustain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage Avantor's product portfolio and implement sales and marketing strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or equivalent/applicable experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a complex sales environment
  • Proven track record of sales success driving growth with a consultative, strategic selling approach
  • Business-to-business sales experience, with preference for distribution experience and/or scientific background
  • Demonstrated capability to utilize best in class selling processes and technology platforms including Salesforce.com and Qlikview
  • Excellent communication and team interaction skills
  • Ability to manage time and territory effectively
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations 4+ days a week
