About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable and responsible for sales operations and collections in the assigned territory
- Achieve targeted sales volumes, value, and net contributions through the promotion and sale of lab consumables
- Identify the right set of customers and promote products
- Develop channels for sales and promotion while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage key accounts and work closely with channel distributors to achieve sales and profitability targets
- Develop new business within the geographic territory and with assigned clients
- Prepare sales forecasts and understand market issues and trends impacting the designated segment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation/Post-graduation in Science; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in lab consumables sales/technical support
- Strong technical knowledge of lab chemicals, consumables, lab equipment/instruments, and microbiology or chromatography products
- Excellent analytical skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
