About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accountable and responsible for sales operations and collections in the assigned territory
  • Achieve targeted sales volumes, value, and net contributions through the promotion and sale of lab consumables
  • Identify the right set of customers and promote products
  • Develop channels for sales and promotion while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Manage key accounts and work closely with channel distributors to achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Develop new business within the geographic territory and with assigned clients
  • Prepare sales forecasts and understand market issues and trends impacting the designated segment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduation/Post-graduation in Science; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in lab consumables sales/technical support
  • Strong technical knowledge of lab chemicals, consumables, lab equipment/instruments, and microbiology or chromatography products
  • Excellent analytical skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
