About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Preparing, coordinating, and managing bids, tenders, or proposals in response to RFPs
- Serving as the primary partner to Sales Management on strategic RFPs
- Collaborating across teams and managing complex deadlines
- Reviewing, preparing, & processing global and high profile complex formal RFPs
- Facilitating RFP kick-off calls with business owners and leadership
- Coordinating response material from all pertinent parties
- Reconciling pricing and units of measure for final document presentation
- Analyzing complex RFP’s with account owners
- Contacting customers and vendors to collect information and respond to inquiries
- Monitoring RFP/Bid mailbox and assigning tasks
- Assisting with training new Bid Coordinators on RFP process and Excel skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business, marketing, or sales functions
- 3–5 years’ experience in bid or proposal management, sales, or procurement
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Strong experience working with RFPs
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of contracts/legal language
