About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze moderately complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
Configure system settings and options; execute unit, integration and acceptance testing
Assist in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements
Design details of automated systems
Work directly with business users to develop and implement systematic solutions
Provide necessary support to ensure systems are available and functioning properly during operational hours
Be the solution expert for all systems supporting Production planning and execution (SAP ECC and S4), Bartender labeling solution and any other manufacturing/planning corporate systems
Manage projects as requested including budget, timeline, and resources
Provide production support for any system issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of experience working with SAP ECC and/or S4 on PP and QM module including hands on configuration
Knowledge on the PP-WM integration is required, and SAP PP-DS is a plus
Experience with SAP PP and/or PP-PI, QM
Strong understanding of the Production planning and Production Execution business processes
ABAP knowledge and any other programming knowledge/experience is a plus
Complete understanding of SAP Production Master Data and past experience in SAP data load activity
Past experiences in deploying SAP in new location including fit/gap analysis
Good knowledge of the systems validation concepts, change control procedures for both configuration and technical developments in an ABAP system
Effective written, oral communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment, working independently and prioritizing work
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to develop working relationships
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Knowledge of the SAP ABAP programming language and ability to debug custom programs is required
