Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and grow sales across all industry segments within the Southern Arizona market
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand sales in the assigned geography
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and other teams for revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Provide Avantor solutions to customers across all industry segments
  • Successfully manage a territory consisting of diverse customers by implementing sales strategies
  • Prospect and establish new customers by managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop and deliver proposals to customers, conveying Avantor’s value proposition
  • Work with sales management to develop strategic territory business plan

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a complex, dynamic sales environment
  • Proven track record of verifiable sales success driving growth
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively utilize best-in-class selling processes (e.g. SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman/Korn Ferry) and CRM platforms (Salesforce.com)
  • Collaboration Tool: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
