About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and grow sales across all industry segments within the Southern Arizona market
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand sales in the assigned geography
- Collaborate with sales leadership and other teams for revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Provide Avantor solutions to customers across all industry segments
- Successfully manage a territory consisting of diverse customers by implementing sales strategies
- Prospect and establish new customers by managing a robust sales pipeline
- Develop and deliver proposals to customers, conveying Avantor’s value proposition
- Work with sales management to develop strategic territory business plan
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
- 2-3 years of experience working in a complex, dynamic sales environment
- Proven track record of verifiable sales success driving growth
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated capability to effectively utilize best-in-class selling processes (e.g. SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman/Korn Ferry) and CRM platforms (Salesforce.com)
- Collaboration Tool: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
