Key responsibilities & impact

Lead our technical Sales Specialist team
Be a key stakeholder as we expand into the high-end laboratory design market
Understand customer initiatives and bring forward a solution using our capabilities
Position the Avantor brand as premier in the market
Lead a team of sales professionals
Build awareness for the high-end lab laboratory design market
Recruit, hire, train and build a solid team
Build pipeline and market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree is required; Advanced degree in Architecture, Business, Construction or similar preferred
5+ years in laboratory design, laboratory construction, laboratory casework, biosafety or fume hood sales experience
Working understanding of the construction industry
Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, CRMs, & PowerBI/Qliksense
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Ability to travel 50%+ (customer sites, meetings, etc.)
