About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process and oversee Accounts Payable routines
Generate, validate and transmit CNAB files for bank payments
Process bank return files and perform financial reconciliations of executed payments
Monitor due dates, payment scheduling and payment flow
Ensure correct verification of tax documents, boletos (bank payment slips) and suppliers' bank details
Manage electronic payments, ensuring compliance, security and timely execution
Optimize routines and automate processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce rework
Support preparation of management reports, financial KPIs and internal controls
Organize supporting documentation, ensuring data quality in the financial system and proper accounting reconciliation of amounts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related fields
Experience with Accounts Payable routines and bank payments using CNAB
Knowledge of bank reconciliation, cash flow management and bank integration
Analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, proactivity, results orientation and a continuous improvement mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel
Nice-to-haves: experience with Protheus (TOTVS) ERP, experience with bank VAN payments, knowledge of financial process automation, postgraduate degree or MBA in a related area, and experience with BI/Analytics
