About the role

  • Planning and migrating on-prem services to the Cloud
  • Implementing Microservice practices
  • Implementing best practices for service performance visibility
  • Building and setting up new development tools on cloud infrastructure (Azure, Google)
  • Automate, and optimize CI/CD for other processes on projects
  • Analysis and monitoring of logs
  • Responding to and troubleshooting performance and reliability issues
  • Works closely with the development and operations teams to ensure effective communication and close collaboration throughout the application development life cycle

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, routing, and load-balancing technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Git as a version control
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment on Microsoft Azure and Google (GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using automation tools/ configuration management systems like Terraform
  • Good knowledge with logging and monitoring technologies such as DataDog, APM, Elastic Search
  • Strong knowledge of best DevOps practices and methodologies
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable and highly available application
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and docker 5 year+
  • Understanding networking on different levels
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS administration
  • Demonstrated success in working with distributed teams abroad
