About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a subject matter expert on US market access, coding, coverage, reimbursement, and policy issues
- Monitor and analyze federal and state policies, reimbursement dynamics, and market developments
- Translate complex changes into actionable implications, risk mitigation, and strategic recommendations for clients
- Develop expertise across payer coverage, health policy, reimbursement, pricing, contracting, evidence generation, launch planning, patient support, market analytics, and site-of-care economics
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research to answer client business questions and identify opportunities and risks
- Translate market access and business challenges into evidence-based recommendations
- Conduct literature reviews, systematic data extraction, analysis, and synthesis
- Apply structured problem-solving to ambiguous business questions
- Communicate findings through presentations, written deliverables, and daily client interactions
- Manage client relationships across multiple engagements and serve as a trusted advisor
- Manage project workstreams and teams, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate with subject matter experts
- Review and guide project team work and integrate stakeholder input into final deliverables
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to junior team members
- Review work products for analytical rigor and quality
- Contribute to the growth of the US Market Access practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Business Administration, Health Economics, Health Policy, Public Policy, Healthcare Management, or Public Administration
- 4+ years of relevant healthcare-focused experience in consulting, pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies, health plans, advocacy organizations, government agencies, think tanks, or similar organizations
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. market access and reimbursement landscape
- Knowledge of payer coverage and utilization management, pricing and contracting strategy, and evidence/value requirements
- Working knowledge of Medicare Part B and Part D, Medicare Drug Price Negotiation under the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program
- Ability to translate complex policy analysis, research findings, and data into actionable business recommendations
- Proficiency in comprehensive literature reviews, systematic data extraction, analysis, and synthesis
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, timelines, scope, and client expectations
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and executive audiences
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight
