About the role
- Consult on the analysis of qualitative and quantitative research relating to audience (HCP, patient, and caregiver), brand, culture, and media channels to derive meaningful insights
- Oversee the development of strategy maps, brand maps, and brand ladders, the articulation of insights and promises, and the development of personas, as well as customer journeys and ecosystems
- Advise Strategists, Account leads, Scientific Directors and Creative Directors to create tight, inspiring creative briefs and translate brand insights into ideas
- Monitor cultural and social trends, their impact on target attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and research data
- Clearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams, clients, and prospective clients
- Inform the development of and facilitate workshops using strategic tools and frameworks
- Mentor, coach, and counsel strategy team members to facilitate their growth and development
Requirements
- 12+ years strategic planning or marketing experience in a healthcare/pharma advertising agency environment
- Relevant category and launch experience
- Experience with HCP and patient marketing, including Pharma brand launch
- Experience as lead strategist with brand strategy for :30-60 TV Spots promoting drug brands.
- Experience utilizing strategic tools for analysis
- Experience building and facilitating client workshops
- Proven track record building and leading teams
- Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
- Adept at storytelling
- Bachelor's degree in related field (eg. Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics); Master's degree ideal
