About the role

  • Establish new company-wide processes to support project finance activities considering financial controls while obtaining cross-functional alignment across project management, client services, finance capabilities and accounting teams
  • Lead team of 8-10 project finance professionals located across the US and UK
  • Collaborate with project management (PM) and client service (CS) teams to manage financial data inside WorkFront and NetSuite systems
  • Manage ongoing revenue recognition and own project cash management activities including invoicing and project cash projections
  • Support the Finance capability teams in key initiatives including margin by client, recovery, invoicing analytics, forecasting indicators and development of business KPIs
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives especially around newly implemented project management software

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience with progressive experience across accounting / finance or graduate of finance leadership rotational program
  • Strong technical & leadership skills able to operate in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills managing a diverse team in remote locations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate through ambiguity and establish clarity and direction
  • Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Self-starter, organized and able to prioritize effectively without day-to-day oversight
  • High attention to detail with 'big picture' awareness
  • Compelling influencing skills to drive initiatives while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Committed to continuous improvement
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages, Adobe WorkFront and Oracle NetSuite (desirable)
