About the role
- Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets
- Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data
- Create specifications for reports and analysis
- Provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
- Prepare detailed written documentation that is professional in appearance
Requirements
- Bachelor's preferred
- Equivalent work experience considered
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in business analysis in technology and/or health care environment
- Experience working with healthcare and/or internet applications
- Strong analytical skills
- 3+ years of experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. QuickSight, Tableau, Cognos)
- 2+ years of data analysis experience working with big data
- 3+ years of experience using SQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
