About the role
- Overseeing all technical aspects of the implementation process
- Working closely with Implementation Coordinators and other groups to successfully bring new clients live
- Gathering requirements, managing deliverables, technical setup, testing
- Working with internal and external stakeholders
- Being the technical SME for the implementation process
- Managing client timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible for determining client configuration and recommending the best solution
- Analyzing test data to find root cause, trends, and gaps to prepare the client for a successful Go-live
- Researching issues, testing theories, identifying impact, and proposing short and long-term solutions
- Working with development to gather requirements and test new features and enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical subject (e.g. computer science or engineering) or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in technology (information exchange) and/or the healthcare environment
- At least 3 years of experience managing complex implementations (client product onboarding)
- Experience gathering requirements: data, functional, business, and technical
- In-depth understanding complex data mapping skill
- Thorough understanding of healthcare provider data management
- Experience working in Amazon Web Services (S3 & EMR) or any cloud environment
- Experience working with data standards, in particular XML, JSON, or Parquet, Custom Flat File Structures
- Strong knowledge with enterprise database software (Oracle, MySQL, Aurora DB)
- Ability to understand data models and write complex SQL queries
- Prior working experience of SCALA programming language, Spark SQL, and Jupyter Notebooks is a huge plus
- Significant experience and skills in working with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with RESTful APIs and exposure to Postman and API/FHIR type tools
- Microsoft Office applications / Office 365
- Knowledge of HIPAA; ability to implement systems and processes in accordance with regulations
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal for customer facing communications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A self-starter able to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel
