Reporting to the Director, Payment Accuracy, the Platform Product Manager, Payment Accuracy will be assisting and leading our efforts in bringing transparency to the healthcare system, driving payment accuracy into Availity’s network as a core capability.\n
This role works with business and technology teams to define and scale the platform, ensuring it provides reliability, leverage, and a strong developer experience for internal teams and partners.\n
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare administrative and payment systems.\n

Define the vision, principles, and roadmap for Payment Accuracy platform capabilities (e.g., shared services, APIs, data integration, rules engines).\n
Treat internal product teams as customers; ensure platform features solve real needs and accelerates delivery.\n
Establish standards for API design, versioning, and deprecation; manage SLAs and governance.\n
Improve onboarding, documentation, and tooling to reduce friction for engineering teams and partners.\n
Align engineering, architecture, compliance, and business stakeholders; influence without authority.\n
Monitor adoption, developer satisfaction, and faster time-to-market for dependent teams.\n

Requirements
You are energized in managing an innovative product that will be the future of Availity\n

You have experience in healthcare administrative and payment systems\n
You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Product Management preferably 5+ in platform or developer-facing products. This is required to be considered for the role.\n
You have worked in and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, coordinating across multiple disciplines.\n
You possess technical acumen, the ability to describe and gather product requirements and get feedback from technical staff, especially APIs, data services, integration patterns\n
You have strong knowledge of modern technology architectures, database technology, virtualization, and the impact of government initiatives and HIPAA privacy and security regulations on system design.\n
You have proven ability to lead multi-team initiatives as an individual contributor.\n
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n
You will set yourself apart with: Health IT, Fintech, and/or experience working in a start-up environment\n
Experience working on the payer or provider side of healthcare technology
