About the role
- Assisting and leading efforts in bringing to market customer self-service workflows.
- Collaborating with the Director, Gateway Clearinghouse for the Gateway Clearinghouse platform.
- Developing and maintaining internal and external toolsets and applications.
- Driving both operational excellence and collaborative success.
- Defining product vision and roadmap for a new Gateway Clearinghouse platform.
- Working with internal stakeholders and health plans to understand their workflows.
- Directing the development of operational and reporting metrics to ensure product success.
- Developing requirements to support operational and business needs translating them into clear user stories and epics for development teams.
- Gathering, analyzing, and responding to user feedback.
- Working cross-functionally in a matrix driven environment.
- Leading team of product owners and product analysts to execute against product vision.
- Conducting go-to-market research and incorporate customer insights into product planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Management within the healthcare space, preferably in revenue cycle management, EDI clearinghouse or interoperability.
- Proven experience creating and executing roadmaps as well as leading a development team to meet deliverables.
- Strong experience with product development life cycle (PDLC).
- Experience managing customer expectations.
- Worked in and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, coordinating across multiple disciplines.
- Technical acumen and the ability to grasp technical concepts.
- Strong familiarity with API architecture.
- Experience gathering product requirements and getting feedback from technical staff.
- Knowledge of modern technology architectures, database technology, virtualization, and the impact of government initiatives and HIPAA privacy and security regulations on system design.
- Understand the healthcare EDI ecosystem, business models and customer needs.
- Familiarity with JIRA.
