About the role
- Manage accounts receivable in the organization.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing and collection matters.
- Generate accurate and timely invoices for clients.
- Create collection KPI metrics and produce a weekly accounts receivable dashboard.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the billing and collection team; mentor junior members.
- Investigate and resolve disputes related to invoicing or payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with clients to address billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Support audit requests as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience of 5 to 7 years.
- 4 years of prior experience in billing and collections, accounts receivable or related financial roles.
- Experience with invoice processing, collections, financial analysis, and cash application is preferred.
- Previous experience (minimum of 3 years) communicating with internal stakeholders and customers regarding billing and collection matters.
- Must be proficient in Excel – able to use filtering, sorting, and creating basic formulas as well as creating and using pivot tables and VLookup.
