About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for processing and controlling enrollments, terminations and billing for medical and dental plans.
  • Respond to technical questions regarding health plans in accordance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Serve Shared Services Center (SSC) clients via phone and email (support tickets).
  • Monitor compliance with obligations established in collective bargaining agreements related to health and dental plans.
  • Verify co-payments and monthly premiums deductions.
  • Process enrollments, removals and plan changes.
  • Reconcile transactions carried out during the month.
  • Issue payment slips (boletos) and forward them to Finance.
  • Verify billing and maintain weekly control of payments to plan providers.
  • Handle requests for cancellations and contract migrations.
  • Update age-band pricing/value tables.
  • Send information and resolve outstanding issues with providers.
  • Perform and support other department tasks as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed or in-progress degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR Management or related fields.
  • Intermediate Excel.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
  • Previous experience in the role.
