About the role
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of your assigned product, ensuring quality, structural integrity, and design alignment.
- Take an active role in Designs, Plastic Injection Molding processes, FEA analysis, and mechanical integrity.
- Lead improvement initiatives by assembling and guiding project teams while fostering a collaborative, cross-disciplinary development culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with partners, product owners, project managers, and R&D teams to meet project objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical design for manufacturing, assembly, and mass production with a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or any related field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA simulations, FMEA, ISO GPS, and PLM systems.
- Product Development Experience prototyping and designing for processes like Injection Modeling, Sheet Metal Stamping, Die Casting using DfA and DfM principles.
- The ability to Thrive in Testing and Improvement, material testing, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement.
