About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create engaging learning content to support business success
Determine the appropriate platform and delivery mode for learning needs
Apply continuous improvement to learning content and processes
Partner with Subject-Matter Experts to create training that meets business needs
Lead instructional design projects from concept through implementation
Coordinate project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
Design visually engaging, multi-modal learning experiences that drive measurable performance and business results
Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and make decisions with minimal supervision
Develop facilitator and participant guides, assessments, certifications, job aids, pre- and post-work, and performance support materials
Create and deliver instructional content across multiple learning modalities
Contribute to additional learning and development initiatives as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Lead instructional design projects from concept through implementation
Apply adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies
Design visually engaging, multi-modal learning experiences
Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
Experience developing facilitator and participant guides, assessments, certifications, job aids, pre- and post-work, and performance support materials
Experience creating instructional content across multiple learning modalities
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Vyond, Articulate 360, Synthesia, and Learning Management Systems
Automotive instructional design experience preferred but not required
Advanced instructional design experience
Experience with executive-level presentation creation
Advanced video editing skills
Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or similar education or certification preferred
Track record of innovation using AI-enabled workflows
Demonstrated use of emerging technologies to create workflow efficiencies
