About the role

  • Serve as a key liaison between business users and technology teams, ensuring stability and performance of critical systems.
  • Oversee operational health of SaaS and on-premise applications, managing incidents and driving process improvements.
  • Administer SaaS applications supporting AutoNation Finance, coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Provide hands-on operational support for technology solutions across multiple environments.
  • Lead incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution efforts for major and recurring issues.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to engineering/infrastructure teams, ensuring communication flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on operational stability and efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce technology operations policies, standards, and runbooks specific to AutoNation Finance systems.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on operational processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technology support, systems operations, or IT service management role.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage incidents in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Azure Cloud (infrastructure and application management), Windows desktop and server configurations, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and VDI thin clients, Call center systems including physical/soft phones and IVR, Networking systems.
  • Prior experience in Automotive Finance or a related industry is a plus.
