About the role

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Security, Engineering, and Operations teams to align IT initiatives with company-wide objectives.
  • Implementing Workflow Automation: Design and deploy advanced workflows to automate and integrate business processes across the company, enhancing operational efficiency and system interconnectivity.
  • Automate SaaS/IDP Systems: Implement and maintain automation for identity and SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Atlassian, GitHub) to streamline provisioning and administration.
  • Endpoint Automation through Automox: Utilize Bash and PowerShell scripting within Automox to enable automated actions on endpoints, improving compliance and reducing manual IT workload.
  • Establishing CIS Controls on Endpoints: Use Jamf policies and configurations to enforce CIS controls on Mac endpoints, and leverage Microsoft Intune for applying similar standards on Windows endpoints.
  • AI Utilization: Leverage AI tools to accelerate high-impact projects and enhance quality of deliverables.
  • Project Engagement and Execution: Participate actively in all stages of IT projects, from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Assist in Internal Help Desk Queue: Monitor and resolve tickets to meet our SLA with the business taking care of level 1 and escalated level 2 tickets as needed.
  • Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, enhancement, or overhaul.
  • Lead knowledge sharing sessions, staying updated with the latest in cloud and automation technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in IT Systems Administration or related roles, with a focus on cloud solutions and automation preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in automation using languages such as Python, Bash, Powershell, or other scripting languages.
  • Proven experience in enhancing cloud environments, especially AWS/Azure, and in deploying endpoint security measures using Jamf and Intune.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to assess systems, spot inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
  • Familiarity with popular cloud platforms and automation tools (Okta Workflows or SOAR equivalent)
  • Experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, to accelerate and enhance work streams.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to work on cross-departmental projects and share insights.
