About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reviewing and updating existing CAD designs in OnShape to company standards
Updating drawing templates to the latest standard
Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of CAD metadata (e.g. materials, masses)
Creating, reviewing and releasing drawings
Generating OnShape publications for released parts and assemblies, including electro-mechanical assemblies
Working with sub-contractors to ensure we hold their latest 3D models and design drawings
Migrating designs to the PLM tool

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient OnShape user
>2 years mechanical design experience
Working knowledge of GD&T and AMSE Y14.5
Good attention to detail
