About the role
- Provide excellent guest service and actively work in the outlet, preferably at the bar, but as needed in other areas
- Adhere to established concept standards / SOPs (quality, hygiene, service, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area as well as guest seating areas
- Ensure smooth operations in a high-volume environment with significant guest throughput
- Check stock levels and ensure adequate supplies (place replenishment orders to the central warehouse)
- Assist with inventories
- Lead and coach junior staff in accordance with leadership standards
- Promote additional sales (up- and cross-selling)
- Ensure an appropriate appearance of our employees according to company standards
- Optimize processes in your outlet with a focus on guest satisfaction, employee motivation and operating costs
- Work closely with and coordinate with the responsible Operations Manager
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in (chain) hospitality, preferably at the bar or as a barista
- Independent working style with attention to all outlet matters – hands-on mentality
- High self-motivation to help drive Brewgate forward
- Confident communication with guests and colleagues of different nationalities
- Very good German, at least good English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to work variable shifts (working hours 05:00–23:00), including weekends and public holidays
