About the role
- Provide excellent guest service and actively work in the outlet, preferably at the bar, but as needed in other areas
- Ensure compliance with established concept standards / SOPs (quality, hygiene, service, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area as well as guest seating areas
- Ensure smooth operations in a high-volume environment with heavy guest throughput
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate replenishment (place orders with the central warehouse); assist with inventories
- Lead and coach subordinate staff in accordance with leadership standards
- Promote additional sales (up- and cross-selling)
- Ensure staff maintain a professional appearance according to company standards
- Optimize outlet processes with a focus on guest satisfaction, employee motivation and operating costs
- Work closely and coordinate with the responsible Operations Manager
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in (chain) hospitality, preferably at the bar or as a barista
- Independent, hands‑on working style with attention to all aspects of the outlet
- High self-motivation to help drive Brewgate forward
- Confident communication with guests and colleagues of various nationalities
- Very good German, at least good English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (working hours between 05:00–23:00), including weekends and public holidays
