About the role

  • Define and drive the architectural strategy, ensuring systems are built for long-term performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional system design initiatives, covering real-time workflows, large-scale data processing, and distributed services.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices across development teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and foster continuous growth for a group of full-stack engineers.
  • Drive strategic organizational scaling through active involvement in the hiring process.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Business teams to define technical roadmaps and strategy.
  • Oversee the successful end-to-end delivery of large, complex, and cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering management, including managing team leads or senior engineers.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-team technical initiatives.
  • Proficient background in javascript/typescript, and strong knowledge in Node.
  • Experience in React- an advantage.
  • Proven track record leading teams that design, scale, and operate distributed, high-performance systems in complex production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, abstract business challenges into clear technical direction, scalable architecture, and execution plans delivered through engineering teams.
