About the role
- Define and drive the architectural strategy, ensuring systems are built for long-term performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead complex, cross-functional system design initiatives, covering real-time workflows, large-scale data processing, and distributed services.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices across development teams.
- Lead, mentor, and foster continuous growth for a group of full-stack engineers.
- Drive strategic organizational scaling through active involvement in the hiring process.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Business teams to define technical roadmaps and strategy.
- Oversee the successful end-to-end delivery of large, complex, and cross-team initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering management, including managing team leads or senior engineers.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-team technical initiatives.
- Proficient background in javascript/typescript, and strong knowledge in Node.
- Experience in React- an advantage.
- Proven track record leading teams that design, scale, and operate distributed, high-performance systems in complex production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex, abstract business challenges into clear technical direction, scalable architecture, and execution plans delivered through engineering teams.
