About the role
- Acquire new dealership accounts (franchise and independent) across a multi-state territory
- Promote and demo AutoFi's digital platform for online and in-store solutions
- Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities through in-person visits, phone, email, and sales automation tools
- Build a network by asking for references and introductions to identify decision makers and set demo appointments
- Partner with inside sales and support teams to enable long-term success
- Deliver compelling consultative sales demos and communicate product value
- Represent AutoFi at industry conferences and networking events
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance targets
- Use Salesforce and territory planning to track results and manage opportunities
Requirements
- Proven track record of success as a B2B Top Sales Performer in Automotive SaaS
- Experience as an Automotive Retail Leader (Platform Director, Finance Director, Sales Floor Manager/Closer, General Sales Manager)
- Experienced with process-oriented prospecting, territory planning, and using Salesforce to track results
- Experience with unannounced visits, cold calling, email marketing, presenting and closing business
- Ability to build on existing network and new relationships
- Proficient in sales outreach tactics and delivering consultative sales demos
- Strong qualifying, follow-up and closing capabilities
- Self-motivated with high energy and adaptable to change
- Understanding of automotive dealer roles, processes and business needs
- Required travel: approximately 70% within an assigned multi-state territory; minimum 6-10 days in the field/month with overnight travel
- Must be able to safely operate a vehicle for extended periods and maintain a solid driving record; able to manage air travel and lift carry-on luggage
- Experience with Google Suite a plus; we are a Mac company
