About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Champion a data-driven culture, evangelize best practices, and shape key data science areas including segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction, and insights
Identify, design, prototype, and build scalable end-to-end machine learning pipelines for Autodesk eCommerce personalization
Develop and implement robust experimentation frameworks supporting rapid iteration and deployment of personalization models
Create compelling stories and logical recommendations based on data and machine learning model insights
Partner with cross-functional teams to initiate, lead, and complete large-scale, complex strategic projects
Advise senior cross-functional leaders on project prioritization, scope, recommendations, and data-driven business decisions
Mentor and guide junior data scientists and MLEs through project planning, technical decisions, and code and documentation review
Develop and train machine learning models and algorithms for personalized recommendations in Autodesk's B2C eCommerce platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related technical field
10 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure
7 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing and launching software products
10+ years of hands-on experience with data mining and information retrieval
Experience in A/B testing and experimental design
Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and financial modeling
Ability to translate data insights into business impact
Preferred: MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline
Preferred: 15+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning design, development, and deployment, ideally in eCommerce
Hands-on experience with cloud machine learning platforms such as AWS and Azure
Knowledge of MLOps best practices
