About the role

  • Participate in Scrum team operations, ensuring user stories are validated on time and meet acceptance criteria
  • Translate user story and feature requirements to test plans and test cases
  • Execute end-to-end manual workflow tests
  • Conduct various tests, including functional, regression, system integration, performance, load, and exploratory
  • Work with senior Quality stakeholders and scrum team members to identify test automation strategy for new features
  • Evaluate risk, quality, and stability of software capabilities, and propose solutions to reduce quality risks
  • Ensure quality gates are met for software deliverables, maintaining stable environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Experience in defining and executing validation strategies for web and cloud-based software
  • Experience with testing backend and web applications, including API testing
  • Strong understanding of Agile processes and QA methodologies
  • Experience with tracking and test case management tools like Jira, Confluence, Xray
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress etc.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git/Github (preferred)
  • Exposure to scripting in Postman or similar tools for REST API testing (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker (preferred)
  • Experience with testing cloud infrastructure based on AWS (preferred)
