About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discussions across diverse teams
- Mentor developers on emerging and existing technologies
- Evaluate the feasibility of alternative directions in future architecture/platform development
- Ensure selected architecture achieves desired quality attributes
- Influence design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-native experiences
- Design and implement high-quality code for complex areas
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders
- Present to and gain insights from Autodesk management on key architectural initiatives
- Champion industry best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer or architect, with a strong focus on cloud technologies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring diverse teams
- High levels of ownership and a collaborative spirit
- Extensive knowledge of cloud-native development tools, languages, and frameworks
- Working knowledge of LLMs and machine learning
