About the role
- Work within a Scrum team of approximately 7–8 engineers
- Code, design, and test the primary MFGDM modules/components
- Develop software tools to facilitate the development of high-quality services and components, such as resilience analysis, performance/scalability/stability monitoring, automated testing, etc.
- Produce high-quality code and implement best practices such as testing and documentation
- Collaborate with Scrum team members to meet customer/project requirements from the PO/PM
- Work closely with other Scrum teams located in Canada or at other sites around the world
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience on commercially shipped products or systems
- Solid understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Quick learner and team player
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js
- Experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform such as Azure is a strong plus
- Proficiency in C++ / Java is a strong plus
