About the role
- Concept and create visual identity systems for campaigns and platforms
- Lead art direction for photoshoots and innovate new ways to engage customers through compelling campaigns
- Collaborate with the brand marketing team to bring stories and concepts to life across all channels (email, web, social, digital)
- Create original creative campaigns overseeing projects from conception to execution
- Assist with copywriting support across email, social and Digital Marketing campaigns
- Support the Sales team with concepting pop-up and trade show booth buildouts
- Organize centralized file and photo sharing platform
- Build and maintain a network of talented photographers and videographers
- Organize and direct architectural, lifestyle, food and beverage and retail photoshoots
- Manage internal graphic designers and freelancers ensuring work aligns with brief and brand
- Report to the Chief Marketing Officer
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working at a design-obsessed consumer brand, creative/branding agency, or as an independent designer
- previous experience as an Art Director
- Expert in Adobe CC (specifically Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop)
- Strong typography, visual, and experience design sensibilities
- High standard of creative and attention to detail on all delivery output
- Comfort collaborating directly with a variety of internal and external teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills; Ability to present ideas and feedback clearly, thoughtfully, and confidently
- Able to work independently and follow projects through to completion
- Able and willing to travel as needed for meetings, installs, and projects
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
