About the role

  • Join the Retail Team; a mix of strong engineers and technical hands-on managers
  • Share ownership of the entire development lifecycle
  • Investigate, architect, develop, ensure quality, ship, monitor, and maintain business critical services and components
  • Solve complex problems with a hands-on attitude to raise the bar and drive platform innovation
  • Collaborate and communicate, driving PoC’s, refactorings, and evangelizing best practices
  • Contribute to improve our tech stack which mainly runs on Spring 5, Java 11+, AWS ECS, Lambdas and more

Requirements

  • Proficient in Java & the JVM
  • Comfortable within cloud and microservice environments
  • Daily use of Docker and CI/CD flows
  • Enable quality and operational excellence through monitoring and tracing tools
  • Self-reflection and endurance to improve yourself
  • Advanced in JDK11+, AWS, PostgreSQL, Jenkins Job DSL, Terraform, and Spring Framework is a plus
  • Understand software design patterns and principles such as chain of responsibility, DI/IoC, strategy and builder patterns
