Product Designer
Auto AvaliarProduct Design role at Auto Avaliar focusing on prototyping high-fidelity designs and managing design backlog. Collaborate with business and development teams to enhance user experience and design systems.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build high‑fidelity, navigable prototypes in Figma (digital report screens, mileage and damage timeline, purchase journey and authorization flow);
- Manage and prioritize the design backlog, ensuring the UI/UX pipeline aligns with the product roadmap and stakeholder needs;
- Produce final UI implementations while contributing to the evolution of the area’s Design System, reporting gaps and proposing new components/tokens;
- Conduct usability tests on prototypes, analyze experience metrics, and iterate solutions before development;
- Lead the design handoff and refinement process for engineering (visual specs, states, responsiveness and documentation), acting as the direct liaison with developers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree;
- Advanced Figma skills (components, variants, Auto Layout, variables and interactive prototypes);
- Strong experience in high‑fidelity prototyping and rigorous application of an existing Design System;
- Experience planning and conducting usability tests with users;
- Hands‑on experience with design handoff processes for engineering (defining specs, screen states and responsiveness);
- Solid understanding of digital accessibility fundamentals;
- Good communication skills to act as a bridge between business, design and development teams (Jira, Notion and/or Miro);
- Experience in digital product work combining backlog management and prototype development;
- Portfolio demonstrating navigable prototypes of transactional products that were shipped to production.
