Product Owner
Auto AvaliarProduct Owner managing the development and evolution of digital automotive solutions at Auto Avaliar. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance client experience and oversee product backlog.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and manage the best experience for our customers in the automotive segment, focusing on the continuous development and evolution of the digital inspection/reporting product;
- Manage the product backlog end-to-end, writing and detailing User Stories and Job Stories with clear acceptance criteria, prioritization based on value/risk, and release sequencing;
- Coordinate development cycles and agile ceremonies with the IT engineering team (Scrum/Kanban), actively managing dependencies across data, design, legal, and commercial teams;
- Conduct tactical discovery with retailers, dealerships, and internal areas to refine requirements and incrementally validate solutions;
- Integrate validated prototypes from the Product Designer and business rules defined by the Data Product Analyst into the backlog;
- Define, manage, and track product delivery goals (KPIs and OKRs), monitoring metrics such as Lead Time, funnel conversion, and delivery predictability;
- Validate releases and certify deliveries against established acceptance criteria before publishing and deploying to production.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields;
- Experience working as a Product Owner or in a project environment;
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies;
- Familiarity with tools: Jira, Notion, and/or Miro;
- Experience applying discovery techniques, requirements refinement, and writing functional specifications;
- Knowledge of Kanban and/or Scrum;
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalents) for tracking funnels and events;
- Basic understanding of APIs and integrations to facilitate communication with the technical team.
