About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide virtual-first psychosocial assessments and skill-based psychotherapy to individuals with serious mental illness
Facilitate patient engagement and follow-up care
Provide audio-only follow-up sessions in the event of technical issues
Document treatment response and monitor clinical symptoms
Provide support and advocacy to caregivers and family members
Lead/facilitate support groups and group therapy
Identify social determinants of health needs that team members will work to resolve
Participate in huddles and multidisciplinary communication

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with screening for common mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Experience with assessment and treatment planning for common mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Experience conducting psychotherapy via telehealth
Active and unrestricted licensure as one of the following in Florida (or ability to become licensed in Florida): Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team setting
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team
Comfort working in a startup environment with a rapidly growing and evolving team
