About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the team while continuing to write productive full‑stack code
Make fundamental decisions about data models, system design, and scaling
Model, optimize, and scale databases yourself
Own recruiting and mentoring
Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Business
Make technical decisions in the context of real business objectives
Design architecture for globally distributed scans, near‑real‑time responses, and scalable product identities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Program at a senior level and work full‑stack
Several years of experience in an enterprise SaaS environment
Deep expertise in data and application architecture
At least 5 years of leadership experience
Proficient with complex databases
Confident working with relational and document-based systems
Experience with Cloud SQL and Firebase/Firestore
Willingness to take responsibility for architecture and data model decisions
Ability to scale systems to at least tenfold load
Write production-quality code while leading a team
