DevOps Engineer

• Deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including compute resources, virtual networks, storage solutions, and application services.
• Monitor and optimize cloud system performance by tracking availability and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
• Implement and enforce security measures including security policies, best practices, and compliance requirements to safeguard cloud resources and protect sensitive data.
• Automate cloud operations and processes by developing scripts and automation tools using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python to streamline repetitive tasks and reduce human error.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, managing incidents with a focus on service restoration and collaborating with development and IT teams to minimize downtime.
• Manage rollout of patches and release management, including scheduling and implementing system updates following organizational guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze resource usage to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data and application availability during unforeseen events.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment, evaluate new Azure services based on requirements, and recommend architectural improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
