About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the liaison between Energy Planning and a data engineering unit, responsible for developing and maintaining the department's requirements on the Datahub roadmap, continuously interacting with the technology team, data squads, and business stakeholders.
Define the scope of new implementations and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
Translate business needs into technical data and analytics requirements.
Monitor metrics, generate insights, and propose data-driven improvements.
Produce executive reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
Develop analytical studies using large volumes of data and sector-specific business rules to support company areas, particularly energy planning and regulatory affairs.
Engage with diverse stakeholders, leading discussions and ensuring alignment between technical and business teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in energy planning, commercialization, or the electric power sector.
Data & Technology: Strong knowledge of structuring, modeling, and analyzing data. Experience with query languages and tools such as SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.
Data Architecture: Understanding of orchestration of data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.), system integration, and data architecture concepts.
Product Ownership: Experience as a Product Owner (PO) or in an equivalent role within technology/product teams.
Analytical Tools: Experience with Power BI, Python, and SQL.
