About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and consolidate maintenance engineering demands (main component replacements and UPTOWER repairs) for generation assets;
- Structure and manage maintenance schedules and Master Maintenance Plans considering criticality, operational windows, seasonality and system constraints;
- Prepare and review Technical Specifications (TS) for contracting services and procuring strategic materials;
- Interface with reliability engineering to define maintenance strategies (RCM, RCA, criticality assessments, campaigns);
- Plan maintenance campaigns and optimize interventions (grouping activities, achieving economies of scale);
- Issue and follow up purchase requisitions (PR), ensuring adherence to deadlines and operational criticality;
- Monitor physical and financial execution of activities, analyze deviations and define action plans;
- Track and analyze maintenance KPIs (availability, reliability, MTBF, MTTR, backlog, costs);
- Lead technical meetings with suppliers and ensure contractual performance;
- Work collaboratively with operations, procurement and engineering, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency;
- Develop dashboards and performance analyses (Excel/Word, PowerPoint and Power BI);
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards;
- Support the O&M team on centralized contracts (procurement of main components, labor and cranes for main component replacements, UPTOWER services).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial/Production or related);
- Proven experience in maintenance planning or maintenance engineering in power generation (hydro, wind or solar);
- Experience with maintenance management systems (SAP PM or equivalent);
- Knowledge of maintenance management and reliability for generation assets;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Experience with structured maintenance planning (schedules, backlog, prioritization, risk assessment);
- Experience with activities in the electrical system (National Interconnected System - SIN) and transmission assets, including legal deadlines, requirements and planning of activities and interventions in the Interconnected System;
- Experience in a multimodal environment (hydro + wind + solar);
- Knowledge of reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA/FMECA, criticality analysis, RCA);
- PMP certification or substantial experience in project management;
- Lean certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt or higher);
- Experience planning major outages;
- Knowledge of Power BI;
- Experience with contracts and third-party/vendor management;
- Preparation of intervention orders (SGI) and technical support reports for SGI creation.
