Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development of advanced models to support the Business in reviewing and/or building predictive and prescriptive algorithms.
Ensure technical quality by promoting and disseminating machine learning methodologies.
Structure and share knowledge as the primary internal scientific reference.
Collaborate with IT technical teams to deploy models into production and scalable environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Strong undergraduate degree in quantitative fields (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Economics). Postgraduate degree (Master's/PhD) is a significant plus.
Advanced Modeling: Strong experience with Machine Learning algorithms (XGBoost, Random Forests), Deep Learning (LSTM, Transformers), and classical statistical time series models.
Programming: Fluent proficiency in Python. Familiarity with using AI tools for code generation and programming.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the power/electricity sector, with a focus on trading/market data, pricing, or generation forecasting.
