About the role
- Conduct ecological surveys and species assessments across terrestrial and freshwater habitats
- Provide authoritative identification and management guidance on native, non-native, and invasive species
- Shape conservation and biodiversity strategies by reviewing specialist reports
- Establish rigorous protection and salvaging standards for trees, flora, and saplings
- Integrate advanced tools and collaboration—leveraging GIS for habitat mapping
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ecological work, with a focus on flora
- ISA Certified Arborist (required)
- Proven experience in conducting fieldwork, particularly flora or tree surveys
- Strong knowledge of plant identification and ecological assessment methodologies
- Experience supporting or preparing Environmental Impact Assessments is preferred
