About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with filming setup and teardown for various productions
- Serve as a Production Assistant on set
- Assist with set dressing, director note-taking, craft services, collecting Talent Release Forms, and coordinating background talent, children, and extras
- Provide administrative support, including printing, copying, data entry, note-taking, and obtaining supplies
- Assist Producers with casting support
- Contribute to writing, scripting, ideation, and development of upcoming projects using Graduate School learning
- Perform as an on-camera extra during production when asked
- Provide hospitality and welcome donors or visitors to the Studios Carriage House when staff are unavailable
- Perform quality control of Studios content, including podcasts, Daily Reflections, Lectios, Original Shows, Audio Dramas, and the Amen app
- Assist with Studios cleaning and upkeep
- Liaise between Studios and Graduate Students when extras are needed
- Promote casting calls for talent
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current full-time AI on-site student in good standing
- Love for the Lord and the Catholic Faith, and a servant’s heart
- Interest in film, audio, and storytelling, with a desire to grow in craftsmanship in production
- Interest in being a hands-on member of a fast-paced film studio team and eagerness to learn new things
- Experience with MS365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience with Adobe products is a plus, including Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively and collaboratively as a team member
- Knowledge of the Augustine Institute mission and products
- Excellent verbal and written communication and professional interaction skills
- Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions
- May be asked to work some evenings and weekends, depending on filming schedules
- Mostly work during business hours Monday–Friday
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and walk/stand for long periods
