About the role
- Winning, onboarding, maintaining, and expanding relations with channel partners within an assigned territory
- Understand overall sales strategy and implement tactics to grow sales revenue through the partner network
- Develop new sales channels via strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers, and retailers
- Develop business plans with goals, milestones and action points for each partner and regularly review them
- Ensure monitoring, management, and achievement of each partner's sales quotas
- Find new partners in targeted geographies and negotiate contracts with new partners
- Provide training and support to new partner recruits to enable effective selling of company products/services
- Improve performance of existing partners and evaluate their performance, suggesting improvements
- Monitor partner performance for sales quotas and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with support and management teams to meet customer/partner expectations
- Act as a bridge for communication between customers/partners and the engineering team
- Motivate and coach partner employees to help them meet goals
- Establish and maintain effective communication with partners to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities for market share growth through partner network
