About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Interfaces & Integrations: As part of our Integration team, you are responsible not only for developing and optimizing our interface architecture but also for finding creative solutions for data exchange
You build it, you ship it: From clean backend code to a deployment-ready service, you take full ownership of your features
Infrastructure & Cloud: You are comfortable with the Linux console and actively support building, maintaining and automating our CI/CD pipelines as well as our cloud environment (GCP)
Quality & Code Reviews: Writing clean, well-testable code (Clean Code) is second nature to you. By regularly participating in code reviews, you help drive our shared quality standards
Bug Analysis & Performance: You are solution-oriented and independently resolve bottlenecks and issues across the entire stack, from the API to server infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–3 years practical experience: Solid professional experience in software development with Node.js and modern frontend frameworks—backed by a computer science degree, vocational training as an IT specialist, or a comparable qualification
Interface experience: Practical know-how in developing and designing robust (REST) APIs and confident handling of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases
DevOps mindset: Strong command of the Linux console and hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI / GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure)
Ownership mentality: You don’t wait around—you take initiative; instead of only reporting problems, you think end-to-end, prioritize independently and drive practical solutions to completion
Team spirit & communication: A structured way of working, high willingness to learn, and fluent German or very good English skills for smooth collaboration within an agile team
