Strategic Sales Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Standard-setter & Blueprint: In your first months you will dive deep into our core business. You will demonstrate in the mid-market segment how highly efficient sales work at our company and set the benchmark for the entire team.
- Strategic Enterprise Ownership: After a successful initial phase, you will take full responsibility for the top 100 dealer groups, OEMs and major players in the leasing and rental business.
- C-level Partnerships: You don’t sell software — you drive business-critical transformation. You act as an equal partner to CEOs and boards and build long-term trust.
- Leadership & Team Building: We rely on your experience. After proving yourself operationally, you will lead the Key Account team and develop the next generation of sales talent. You will play a key role in shaping the sales culture at Aufinity.
- Solution Consulting: Together with our product experts you will develop tailored solutions for complex requirements and translate technological excellence into measurable business impact.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Industry heavyweight: You bring a deep career (10–15+ years) in enterprise sales or key account management, ideally directly in automotive retail, at an OEM or with a leading automotive service provider.
- Excellent network: Your network is your capital. You have direct access to the industry’s decision-makers and know how to not only open doors at enterprise level, but to keep them open.
- Entrepreneurial drive: You combine the poise of a top consultant with the persistence of a hunter. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and start in the mid-market because you know that is how real standards are set.
- Closing strength in complex structures: You excel at navigating lengthy decision processes and stakeholder matrices (IT, Finance, HR, Compliance).
- Leadership mentality: You want responsibility—for deals, for strategies and, above all, for people. You have the maturity to lead a team and inspire by example.
- Language profile: Confident negotiation skills in German and English are standard for you.
