About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • By actively contributing to the development of new networking topics, you will help us expand our expertise in the networking area
  • Consulting, design and implementation of networking solutions in the areas of Core, Edge, WLAN and Next-Generation Firewalls
  • Full lifecycle responsibility for and execution of projects — from analysis, through consulting and implementation, to support of the implemented solution
  • Analysis and optimization of the existing networking infrastructure as well as troubleshooting
  • Supporting the sales team in advising customers and preparing proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training or degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification in the IT field
  • Experience in the IT security field
  • Knowledge of routing, switching and firewalling, preferably with products from Cisco and/or HPE Aruba, Fortinet
  • Strong analytical skills and an independent working style
  • Conceptual strength and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills and a strong customer orientation
